Dr Tim Lyons provides a bespoke medical service for health screening purposes.
The medical will usually last for one hour during which a full medical history, family history and other relevant information will be taken. A full physical examination will be performed including a urine test and ECG.
Blood tests will also be requested including haematology (blood) profile, biochemistry (including kidney, liver, glucose (sugar) cholesterol and thyroid profiles). Additional tests can be performed on the same sample (for example prostate testing for men) which can be discussed during the consultation.
A full report will be prepared and sent including the relevant tests and any referrals which may be required.
Additional tests such as colonoscopy or calcium scoring for the heart can be discussed and arranged if required.
