About Us

Dr Tim Lyons works as a full time General Practitioner. and is very available to his patients. He qualified from University College London in 1995 with MBBS and a BSc in physiology and pharmacology. Following this he spent several years working in hospital medicine in London before deciding on a career in General Practice.

He went on to train as a General Practitioner in South West London gaining Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2000.

Dr Lyons has been involved in medical education as a General Practice trainer, teaching GP trainees and also a medical student tutor for some years.

Dr Lyons enjoys being a generalist promoting care for both young and older patients. He is experienced in seeing children, infants and babies having been the clinical paediatric lead for a number of years.

Dr Lyons aspires to providing high quality of care and is very aware of the importance of knowing his patients and providing continuity of care.

Dr Lyons strongly believes in patient centred care, where the patient’s best interests are at the heart of the consultation.

Dr Lyons, along with his colleagues, provide the on call service for the practice where patients can access urgent care 24 hours a day.

Dr Lyons is married with 3 children.  His interests include playing and listening to music and a variety of sports, including cycling and skiing.

 

Qualifications:

MBBS                Bachelor or medicine and Bachelor of surgery,  University College London

BSc (hons)         Physiology and pharmacology , University of London

MRCGP             Member of the Royal college of General Practitioners
